On-Site Motor Control Commissioning

Our on-site commissioning process is designed to help your start up go as smoothly as possible.
Benshaw application engineers work directly with each customer’s internal staff to direct and/or support the commissioning of your project. Our commissioning team has extensive experience in soft starter implementations across a broad range of industries and applications. This service is normally agreed as part of a motor control supply agreement, but can also be quoted separately.

Comprehensive Training Services

Our on-site technical support centers regularly conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions for basic electrical maintenance, electronic maintenance and diagnostics, new product orientations and customized maintenance or operations based systems.

Commissioning Process

During the commissioning process, Benshaw engineers inspect wiring and help set up your new motor starting equipment. Key steps in the process include:

  • Checking motor starter inputs and outputs
  • Performing low voltage simulations (where appropriate)
  • Providing maintenance and operator staff training
  • Providing other services as required/requested
  • Providing a written commissioning report
